Our recent visit included an order of fajitas. While they were good, we found them to be under-seasoned, which was a bit of a letdown considering the cost. Additionally, the cleanliness of our table wasn't up to par, impacting our overall impression. However, our server truly shone; they were exceptionally fast, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal.
I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Timber at Lone Star Hazeldean, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we were seated, Timber made us feel genuinely welcome. Their energy was warm, friendly, and effortlessly professional. Timber went above and beyond throughout the evening—checking in at just the right moments, offering thoughtful suggestions, and making sure our table had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed or interrupted. You can truly tell they care about their guests and take pride in what they do. The food was delicious (as always at Lone Star!), but Timber’s outstanding service is what really made the night memorable. It’s rare to find someone so attentive, personable, and passionate about providing a great experience. If you’re heading to Lone Star Hazeldean, ask for Timber—you won’t be disappointed!
Super delicious late lunch, started out with their yummy (free) chips and salsa. Then tried out their delicious new crispy mozzarella appetizer sooo good and amazing cheese pulls! ($13.99 for four). For my main lunch I had their chicken fajitas for one, on their Tuesday sale, which is $19.99 per person (regular $26.99). I added guac on the side for $2.99. (Totally worth it and super fresh). I also enjoyed a delicious electric blue raspberry margarita (1.5oz for $13.99). Then ordered a chocolate and caramel cheesecake to go. ($9.99). The hostess who greeted me was so kind and since it wasn’t busy I even picked my own seat! I sat in this cute booth with this neon sizzle sign. My waitress was awesome, very attentive refilling my water and the toppings/fajitas and she was so kind. She didn’t rush me and I felt like I had a really good meal. Amazing experience as usual here at Lone Star Stittsville. Total meal with taxes was $68.88. (tip not included in total)
We had a great time at this location, the waitress was new but she's doing her best and she'll be great in short order. Usually the food is fantastic, but I tried a new item on the menu; Birria Bandito wrap, and I wasn't impressed. So much so that I sent it back. Trust me, I am not someone that is fussy about food. I'll spare you all the details of this dish, but don't order it. The manager was great at handling the situation. The rest of meals were great as usual. We'll be back!!
We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet but wonderful. Our server was amazing. We ordered two alcoholic drinks; made perfectly. We ordered the fajitas for two; shrimp with buffalo chicken and a side of ribs. Everything came out hot, together and took around 20 minutes. Food was fantastic. We then got the Lime cheesecake and it was super yummy! Great service overall. Will be back!
Honestly, I had more expectations but sad to mention that it couldn’t fulfill. It was my birthday and I craved for Mexican food so we ordered fajitas and taquitos to try. But it wasn’t up to the mark. It was dull in taste. I would rather go to Ahora for Mexican food. The other thing was we reserved table in advance by putting up the reason as birthday. We thought they will ask or give us the free dessert at the end as I read that they usually give free dessert if it’s your birthday. But I felt staff didn’t treat well. The ambience was very nice, I won’t lie. But the food was not so good and also the quantity was very less. I came back hungry and ate something else at home.
First time at this location, but not my first time at lone star. Went here for a little work group get together. I really enjoyed my food and drinks . The service was amazing , she was very attentive and made sure we had all that we needed and check on us a few times . I would recommend this place
